About Rowley Savings Bank

Rowley Savings Bank was organized as a private bank in 1902 and in 1914 it was incorporated as Rowley Savings Bank. We renovated in 1967 and in 1979 a new addition was added consisting of offices, kitchen, conference room, computer room, new vault, drive-up window, and night depository box. In 2000 we added a new and much more spacious lobby area.

We're open from 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday thru Thursdays, 8:30am to 6pm on Friday.  The drive-up window is open Monday thru Thursday from 8:30am to 4pm, Friday from 8:30am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 8:30am to 11am.

NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURACE COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNT

All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and seperate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not inlclude other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts and money-market deposit accounts.

For more information about temporary FDIC insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.fdic.gov.
